The world's greatest wedding band was back at Moores Mill Club on December 13th for an elegant evening wedding with Kate and Sam. The evening featured a tented back patio and exquisite planning from Julie Bunkley and Invision Events. The Powell family are huge fans of Motown and old soul, including Sam Cooke (one of our faves), so everyone got out on the dance floor!

The evening started with with Kidd Blue playing classic background jazz - creating the perfect ambiance as guests arrived at the reception.

Despite some rain and last minute adjustments by Mallory and her team at Moores Mill Club, the ceremony and reception for Alison and Travis Creel was a beautiful affair and memorable start to a new life together!

Tim Chambliss provided premium sound and wireless microphone configurations for the ceremony. Brides and parents planning outdoor or indoor wedding ceremonies (but especially outdoor events) should remember that at a minimum, the preacher or officiant for the ceremony should be mic'd with a good quality wireless lapel mic so that every guest can hear the special messages, prayers and scripture given during the ceremony. It's important to plan ahead for sound reinforcement and have a qualified technician on hand for set, testing and management during the event. 

As always, Kidd Blue provided a clean crisp stage set up so as not to interfere with the bride's design and theme inside of the reception. Over-bearing stage set-ups can clash with the look and feel of the reception design, so be cautious when hiring your wedding reception band.
