Make plans now to join "the band that rocked the final roll" for an evening of dining, dancing and revelry in the Grand Ballroom of the Mountain Creek Inn at Callaway Gardens. This is the band's second year to celebrate with folks from throughout the southeast at Callaway. The band performed last year to rave reviews and kept the dance floor full all night long.
This year's event will begin at 7pm EST with cocktails and passed hors d'oeuvres in the ballroom foyer as well as live music from The Goodfellas. The exquisite plated dinner will begin at 8pm featuring an outstanding menu and wine pairings prepared by Executive Chef Chris Smith. Members of Kidd Blue will perform a great selection jazz standards for dining during the meal (of course, if you hear an old favorite, the dance floor is OPEN), but after dessert the band will perform a full repertoire of dance floor favorites.
"Last year's event at Callaway just blew us away," explains Tim Chambliss, lead singer for Kidd Blue. "I think we surprised a few folks with how broad our song list was. We played everything from Frank Sinatra to the Temptations to The Commodores to Cee Lo Green. It was a blast and we're looking forward to seeing some friends we made last year at Callaway."
